There have been many who have contributed to the Soul scene in Sydney over the years. George OO Soul in the 80’s , The Sydney Soul Sisters, Dave Adkin, Keith Millar and Soul Biscuits, Miss Goldie with SOS, organisers of the last two Oz Nationals and more recently our team (Una, Rob, Andrea, Richard and Dave T) who organised the annual weekender for the last three years and regular nights in Tattershalls and the Kings Cross Hotel. We also have Bernhard who does Sounds of Soul Eastside radio,
Ska and Reggae DJ’s ,Max and Wally have been guests and The Soul Shaker boys did a spot for us too. And of course how can we forget our dynamic Sara who organises The Reaction nights, which are more Mods inspired sounds, but with a bit of Northern.
The main thing for most of us Soulies is that we have a need to dance!
